La Canada (Calif.) four-star safety Dietrich Riley is giving up a trip to Ole Miss for a visit to the new USC.

With a newly hired defensive back coach in place, the Trojans coaching staff went in-home with Riley's family and came out with one more chance to land one of California's top prospects.

Riley will officially visit USC Jan. 29. In a unique twist, Trojan assistant coaches Willie Mack Garza and Monte Kiffin secured Riley's final official visit without him being present.
