'08 was good, but '09 is even better

The class of '09 is upon us and Redflagsports is roaring to go as we look forward to watching new athletes heat up the charts. With the '08 class almost completed, we look back at all the athletes across the country that had such a great year. Cory Watman and Luke Rice are among many Canadian athletes who accomplished their goal by signing a scholarship letter to their respective school. Although time is winding down, there are still more '08 athletes who may be scooped up, and Redflagsports will be there to give you all the details.

Going Ivy

Reports have disclosed that Windsor RB product Brandon Besant has signed on with Bucknell University.

CIS Recruiting War

Redflagsports encourages all graduating seniors to keep us updated as they make their final school decisions. Universities including SMU, Western and Queens are off to a great start with their recruiting efforts; however Wilfred Laurier is currently leading the pack as they continue to hunt down big name players across the country. Nonetheless, many months remain until teams hit the gridiron next fall, so only time will tell how things work out.
